SNS College of Engineering - Department of Information Technology

             

The department of Information Technology was established in the year 2007, it offers 4 years B.Tech (IT) course which has an intake of 60 students for every academic year.

Engineers shape the quality of our lives and the Department of Information Technology educates the technology leaders of tomorrow while pushing the boundaries of innovation that improve society. The Department offers a slate of bachelor's degree in engineering discipline.

As the Department acclaimed faculty pursue innovation aimed at meeting the engineering challenges of the coming decades, they engage students with an interdisciplinary approach to engineering education that looks outward to engage other professions and bring innovations to society's use.

The SNS engineering graduate is a "societal engineer," well prepared to make significant contributions to the betterment of society whether pursuing a career in engineering or any other profession where quantitative skills can be used to improve people's lives.

Undergraduates can choose to add a concentration or minor to their major degree, pursue internship and research opportunities, or study abroad in programs designed specifically for engineering students. In addition to being part of a close-knit engineering community.
